Propitiate Brothers reports three nights of restless sleep with no identifiable cause; Rose is exhausted. The chain asks God to cover the house and grant one quiet night.

Yeah, I want to carry Propitiate's sleep up here too — Lord, you know what it is to lie awake with nothing you can put a name to, just the dark and the restless, and Rose is tired, and tired without a reason is its own kind of weight. Cover that house tonight.

Amen on Gerry's knee. Lifting Propitiate's sleep — three nights running, nothing wrong we can name, just restless. Rose is tired. We're holding it.

Amen on Gerry's knee. And lifting Propitiate's sleep — restless nights with no name on them are their own kind of hard. Rose, you're not alone in the tired.
