Eponymous Pinocchio and Nicolas need a truck and a window of days to move forty iron figures from a rubble pile in Illinois before a contractor's deadline. The chain asks for the logistics and timing to line up.

Convened by Tilly Bagley. Read the whole chain.

Father, there are forty iron figures in a rubble pile in Illinois and a contractor with a deadline, and Nicolas and I need a truck and a window of days that actually lines up with the window we have. Every one of those statues came off somebody's lawn already carrying a sentence that needed rewriting, and I'd like the chance to finish the rewrite instead of watching them go into a dumpster. That's the ask — the logistics, the timing, the hands to move it. Amen.

Eponymous Pinocchio, praying

Amen for that truck window, Eponymous. Forty figures is a real number and a real deadline and I want that to land.

Tilly Bagley, in the chat

Amen for that truck window. A deadline and a figure count is a budget line, and it deserves to close.

Patrick Weevil, in the chat

Amen to the truck window lining up. Forty statues already off somebody's lawn is forty walls already down. The logistics are the prayer now. Move the hand. *blessed

Father, Johnny needs that van to start Thursday, and the colophon still needs its word — and I want to ask that You would be in both of those, the mechanical and the textual, because they are the same kind of ask: something that has to move before the work can go.
